CINDY HILL
President
Cindy is the co-founder and President of the nonprofit, Arizona Law Enforcement Outreach and Support (AZLEOS). She has a master’s degree in education from the University of Maryland and completed post graduate work at ASU in Nonprofit Leadership. Cindy and her police officer husband, Jim, are college sweethearts who met at IUP (Indiana University of PA), married 35 years. She enjoys spending time with her nephews and nieces, singing the National Anthem at special events, swimming, her dogs and cats, musicals and planning Shop with a Cop every year!
MICHAL JOYNER
1st VP Programs
My position with the Club is to provide programs that inspire, challenge, and educate our members. I want our meetings to be the "place to be" each month.
BRIANA KHALAF
2nd VP Membership
Briana is the VP, External Affairs for Choices Pregnancy Centers. With a background in public policy, philanthropy, and fundraising, Briana is excited to join the board of PVRW and serve our community in a new way. She and her husband, George Khalaf, live in Scottsdale with their two boys and two dogs. In her spare time, Briana loves to be outdoors and traveling to new places.
JAN DUBAUSKAS
3rd VP Caring For America
Jan is an attorney, wife, and mom. She lives in north Scottsdale with her husband and her young daughters (8 & 6). She is activated and motivated to help those most in need. As 3rd Vice Chair, Jan is excited to partner with local charities and bring volunteer opportunities to the Club.
LEEANN HANNEN
Secretary
LeeAnn is an Arizona native and a graduate of the University of Arizona, with a passion for keeping our state red. She lives in Scottsdale with her husband Davic, and their two adult sons living nearby. She has a background in higher education and school office adminstration. LeeAnn is a Precinct Committeeman, works in fundraising for a congressional campaign, and enjoys keeping busy as a dog mom.
CAROL SHEDLOCK
Treasurer
Originally from Maryland, Carol also lived in the San Francisco Bay area for three decades before escaping to Scottsdale in retirement in 2019. She promptly joined Palo Verde Republican Women and has served as Treasurer since 2022. Carol has worked as a Republican poll observer at every election since arriving, and also volunteered during the election audit in 2021.
JOAN LANG
Parliamentarian
After moving frequently all over the world for 24 years, my husband and I came back to Arizona and opened a small successful business in Scottsdale. I have been a member of PVRW since 2009 holding many positions, including President for 5 years. I have enjoyed every minute of being a part of this amazing group of women.
